Deos Staffing & Recruiting is excited to be recruiting on behalf of our esteemed client, a leading logistics company based at LHR (London Heathrow). We are currently seeking a skilled and highly motivated Transport Co-Ordinator to join their team.

As a Road Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

• Orchestrating the smooth and efficient movement of goods from start to finish, from estimating and planning to rating, overseeing, and harmonizing shipments.
• Managing our key road freight account, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.
• Coordinating with clients, customs, and agents to ensure the rapid transit of cargo.
• Tracking and verifying shipments to ensure accurate transportation and delivery.
• Communicating with customers to keep them informed of the status of their freight.
• Selecting the most cost-effective shipment methods that meet the needs of our customers.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A comprehensive understanding of import/export laws, rules, and procedures, as well as the preparation of necessary documentation.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 per year, as well as a full-time position, Monday to Friday.
